As much as i love Seans later films after Bond, It`s the Bond films that i love him in the most. Especially the beginning scenes of Dr no at the airport. Swaggering around in that suit! I feel sorry for any actor that came after him, except maybe Roger Moore. Roger though had years of experience playing a very similar role in "The Saint". Sean actually came to my town (Inverness) to promote the SNP party. He was maybe 64 ish? I missed it however as there wasn`t much advertizing about it. I would have loved to have met him!

I attended Antioch College in the early 80's. I used to live with my GF in town, the awesome Yellow Springs. During my time at Antioch, I remember going to Kelly Hall to see a performance by two drummers. One of them was Andrew Cyrille. Great fun and memories of that special unique place, people and town. The comedian Dave Chappelle also lives there, his dad was a professor at Antioch College.

Oh my gosh, I know Carol Steele. I met her in Oakland in 2005 or so, definitely through music, and have known her now for 20 years. Her percussion chops are legendary out there. And she us such a great person, too. Had no idea she'd been on Letterman,. Thanks for posting this.
